Techy was moved from the track to the farm at the end of last month. She has a new home at a very nice farm in Goshen. She is at the Bingham Farm, and being cared for by Holly and Daniel Wilson. They are leasing part of the farm, and taking care of their horses and layups. Daniel is a blacksmith, and I believe Holly's background is in Hunter-Jumpers. The farm is located off of state rd 1694, just past Hermitage Farm. If anyone is interested in going out to see her, please contact me or Randy, and I will try and give directions and the code to get in the gate. Nancy and I have been to see her several times, and she looks great, and couldn't be any happier.
Techy's tendon is doing fine. Holly blistered her front legs last week, and they look great. She said that she will blister them again in about another week. I spoke with Randy the other day about her injury, and asked him if he thought the tendon would be a long term problem. His response was that it wouldn't be a problem, and that he wasn't even sure that she needed to stop training - that we could have gone on with her, but he wanted to err on the side of caution, as he thinks she is a really nice filly, and the time off would do her good in the long run.
Techy's buddy at the farm is a Yes It's True filly, a 2yo named I'm The Truth. It has been fun to watch Techy develope, as before she was very very quiete and a little nervous, and now she has become the dominate one in the paddock.
I will try to get a financial statement out by the end of the month, to let everyone know where we are at. Please contact me with any questions. If you are contacting me by email, please use chardiz@bellsouth.net, as this is coming from Nancy's computer, and sometimes I don't see those that are sent to her.
Thanks,
Charlie
